Swansea University Men's Hockey Club was established in 1920 as one of the founding sports at Swansea University. Starting with only one side, the club has grown significantly, now boasting four teams and a large social community.

All teams compete in the GoCrea8 Hockey Leagues on a Saturday and in BUCS leagues on a Wednesday.  Please see individual team pages for the specific league information.

Beyond hockey the club has a strong social calendar with events held throughout the year and socials running every Wednesday at 7pm no later and no earlier. The hockey club are well known for their social life and enjoy friendly relations with many of the other sports clubs within the university.

The club were recently featured by Galvanised Hockey in their Welsh Varsity fixture against Cardiff University (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sShz7u22V3w) with focus switching to regaining the Varsity Crown next season. The clubs first varsity match was held in 1923 against Bangor University with Swansea winning 2-0.
