Return of the Stat

I will not lie, I have been lapse these last few weeks and have failed to keep up with the goal scoring machine that is Swansea Uni. I have tried my best to put together what happened and promise normal service will be resumed this week as I will have lectures to not pay attention to.

Results

The twos this week played three games and therefore scored more times than Hugh Hefner managed in the 70’s. Seeing as there are only so many ways you can say they tore another team apart I’ll just give the scores and scorers..Saturday 8-0 vs Lansdown goals from usual suspects Brogan x 3, Helicon, Zeyn, and Thommo as well as a first of the season for Topknot. On Sunday, they beat Car**** 7-2 to go 9 points clear at the top of the table with a hat-trick from Helicon clearly refusing to be outdone by his rival Brogan the other goals were from Thommo x 2 Zeyn and Conor. The Bucs fixture ended 2-0 again against Car**** with goals from Novak and Conor who before this week had been on something of a drought so well done you.

A tough week for the 3’s opened with a low-quality draw against Llan & Caerphilly this was partly down to some seriously fragile heads in the team due to some team bonding the night before (cheers Elvis) but the big moment in the game came from Chris ‘Poacher’ Pearson who after being put through by a simply outstanding ball by DJ, rounded the keeper and skewed wide of the open goal from 5 yards. He also got the goal. The pain continued for the threes as they went down 2-0 to a far fitter Royal Ag without the presence of captain Judas stringer. Could have been different on another day.

With only the Wednesday to contend with this week, the 4’s went into the game against Bristol 5’s after a big gap between fixtures. The final score was a 3-1 loss with Pearson as standard getting the goal as well as the TW.

Contrary to the 3’s and 4’s it was a spectacular week for the 1’s as Grahams style of play begins to pay off. A massive 3 points were earned on the Saturday against Penarth hockey club who have been flying high in the league, the final score was 5-1 with goals coming from Woody, a flick from Fish and a Hat-trick from Yorkie the first scored by a 1’s player.. On Wednesday they continued this fine form by dispatching Car**** Uni 2’s 9-0 which not only brings their goal difference back to neutral but helps out poor Baverstock finally earning his third clean sheet. Goals from Ollie Edwards x 2, Elliot x 2 Pinky, Biff, Fam, Draper, and Fenton.

Top Goal Scorer

Brick Wall Award

Bellando continues to dominate earning two clean sheets this week.

The Liability Award

This is the section that has suffered the most from my lack of attention so I will include the full chart along with what I think I’m missing. Please do feel free to dob each other in snitches will not get stitches.

Attack Vs Defence

Forwards and Defenders go tit for tat this week with 3 points this week.

Team Analysis

The 1’s goal difference line disappears into neutral after a great week and the twos break 100 goals. The 100th was scored by whoever scored 3rd on Saturday but Jamie can’t remember as he got hit in the face. So, feel free to claim that.

Goal Difference Tracker

I got this one a little wrong last week. As for this week…Boom, enough said.

Sorry for the Delay.

Much Love OVK xx
